PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – After 30 years in business, the Mad Mex store near the Pitt campus in Oakland has closed for good.
The company announced the closure on social media on Tuesday, citing “continuing staffing and operational changes.”
Mad Mex said it will never forget the good times shared on Atwood Street over the past 30 years.
The restaurant was closed over the summer due to staffing issues and only reopened last October, when schools started.
